Oy joy

Finally, Europeans can rejoice. A new day has dawned, bringing with it a fresh resource for true, pure Europeans. Behold, the Internet Jew Database. A dandy tool for verifying if certain Hungarian celebrities and politicians are of Jewish origin or not. The criteria for inclusion on this list is the same one used half a century ago. "A person is deemed to be Jewish if we think that s/he is Jewish."

I have been away way too long and even after looking through their mother site (matula.hu) for hours, I still cannot tell if this is satire or not. The lead article at matula is Making New Meadows Jew-free an act which is pretty old-school. Can't those guys do something their grandparents haven't already thought of?

Worry not children. In due time, I could be living in peace. I wonder if they have kimchi pots buried in their organic garden.

Ahh, never mind - you are more exotic than I thought. Budapest? I heard it's a great place to party down. Party Down. And such...
Are you under 30? You could go to school for free in Israel? Or could you? (Treads dangerously close to his own ignorance)

I am Hungarian. I cn read Hungarian. I am under 30 though periliously close to what I like to call "THE END". I could go to school for free in Israel but only if I decide to move there and learn Hebrew first. What I cannot do is eat kimchi or speak Korean.

Is it just me or does that Rongo place look like an overenthusiastic kindergarten?

Groan...

Europes love affair with anti-semitism is alive. I love Europe. But sometimes it troubles me. As in cases like this.

Ditto with nasty islamophobic websites, and those dodgy western Europeans who go on holiday to Goa for the purposes of abusing little kids.

Will the hate never end????

I love Budapest, though. I remember it was the first place to illuminate my concept of "Turkish Bath" and " 24 - hour bar" and "nearly free beer". And eating cheese sandwitches on the banks of the Danube before a crazy Magyar drove us to Cluj Napoca to the tune of "Sweet Dreams are made of These"

And who am I to disagree.

adalmin-what's wrong with kindergarden?

lucecilla- cluj Napoca??? You do get around. Someday I'll tell you the wild tale of asiatown being chased around the eastern Plains by a group of drunken gypsies.

FYI: it _is_ a satire. Matula used to be a comedy show in the late 90's and it seems to be continued on this website.
