Reason number bazillion to hate Koreans
I signed up for a rafting trip today. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, I called up the trip organizer.
Me: "You know, I live in noplaceville so i may be 10 minutes late this morning. Would you be kind enough to wait for me?"
Him: "Oh...well then, just don't come."
Mussolini made the trains run on time too. I think he was Korean.

Does that mean a potential day of rafting got turned into...what, surfing on Dave's?
Maybe this will make your day more interesting:

My potential day of rafting included side trips to Kangnam, Gildong, Cheonho...and then a day of surfing on Dave's. Shame. Mith, where are all those hot jazz clubs you speak of? Whenever I ventured to one in Ansan or Anyang, weekday or weekend, they were dead as a doornail. (Another old country euphomism from my da. Does anyone know what it's supposed to mean?) I also discovered that I live in the heart of the Gyeonggi-do Russian district. Those hairy legged Babushkas have been shadowing me my whole life.
Dead doornails tell no tales.
178 huh... I'm at...185 or something. g/l. You know, U.S. grunts in Nam talked the same way about their time here. Are we complaining too much?
You're not suggesting that I'm going to fall victim to fragging in my Ansan unit tent are you?
Yeah we do- we could do worse- on some days anyhow.
All right, here's how you find Once in a Blue Moon (a real jazz club):
Go to Gangnamgu station (강남구청 on line 7), leave out exit 4 and go down the hill. Down, down, down and you pass by a school on the right, an Outback on the left, and you can see a large black building on the left which is a movie theatre.
Now you're at a large intersection and you cross it and keep going straight. You'll see a big Gorilla on a building there. Suddenly everybody is wearing miniskirts and the guys all look like they're going to the gym. Pass by a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, pass by a Starbucks, go a tiny bit further and you're there.
Cover charge is free but drinks are 10,000, and the best music is on Monday nights.
I always study at the Starbucks there because it's loud and there are a lot of people. ^ㅇ^
Thank you mith. I was going mad(der) here.
